Worried about old lead pipes in your Portobello home? We check honestly and replace them properly.
Lead Pipe Replacement in Portobello
Portobello's promenade terraces, Victorian villas and stone tenements run from the beach back to the High Street, with Joppa at the eastern end.
Older stone homes near the coast often still have original lead supplies. We’ll confirm what you have and give you honest options.
Many period villas still have a lead supply from the street to the stopcock, even after the internal pipework has been upgraded. We check exactly where it is and replace what’s needed.
Reviews
“I'm a landlord with several properties and have been using Kevin from Dunedin Plumbing for a couple of years now. He's an exceptionally good plumber — reliable, turns up on time, doesn't overcharge, and always leaves the property clean and tidy. It's nice having someone you can trust to get the job done properly.”
“My downstairs neighbour complained that water was coming through their bedroom ceiling at 6pm. Kevin attended within 2 hours, investigated, and traced the leak back to my neighbour's own water tank — isolating the issue so they had time to contact their landlord. A great, reliable plumber, even if his jokes are mince.”
